Claimed for $62,500 by trainer John Sadler for the C R K Stable on April 23, We All Love Aleyna will try to pick up where he left off in today’s fifth at Hollywood Park.

The race is the third leg of a pick six with a carry-over of $100,380. The 3-year-old Nines Wild gelding won his final four starts for owner Jay Manoogian and trainer Mike Mitchell.

Apprentice jockey Mick Ruis keeps his mount on We All Love Aleyna, who is one of 10 scheduled to go a mile on the turf in the $50,000 optional claimer.

The 3-1 favorite in the race is Quiet Cash. Owned and bred by Mike Pegram and trained by Bob Baffert, the Real Quiet colt broke his maiden by four lengths in his only other appearance on the Hollywood Park turf course.

Race of the day: Baldwin County, who won by eight lengths April 22, will shorten to 6 1/2 furlongs in his first start for trainer Ron Ellis in today’s third at Hollywood Park. Javier Santiago will ride the 4-year-old Golden Voyager colt, who was claimed for $40,000, in the $47,000 allowance.

One for the road: Childress goes for her third victory in a row in today’s eighth at Belmont Park. The daughter of Evansville Slew will debut for owner Maggi Moss and trainer Gary Contessa after being claimed for $50,000 out of a seven-length victory May 21. Richard Migliore will ride in the $50,000 optional claimer at 1 1/16 miles.

Exotically speaking: A pick three using Dancing Event in the second, Melanyhasthepapers, Attack Alert and Baldwin County in the third and Best In The Storm, Can’t Be Denied and Onda Calida in the fourth.
