Commander Denies Beheading Four Taliban

A senior Afghan militia commander retracted his statement that troops had beheaded four Taliban fighters to avenge the similar slayings of an Afghan soldier and a military interpreter. The statement came after a strong government denial.
Naimatullah Khan, corps commander of southeastern Zabol province, initially said his forces decapitated four Taliban.
