Judge Delays Trial of Serial-Bombing Suspect
From Times Wire Reports
A federal judge delayed the trial of serial-bombing suspect Eric Rudolph until next year, ruling his lawyers need more time.
Rudolph is charged with a bombing outside a Birmingham abortion clinic in 1998 that killed a police officer. He will stand trial later for three Atlanta-area bombings, including one in 1996 in Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park that killed a woman.
