The dollar’s shrinking value

Share

Just a line to those who have faith in the current policy of letting the value of the dollar fall against other international currencies: When I arrived in England on Nov. 4, I changed $100 at the currency exchange bureau and was given 66 pounds in return. My wife arrived three months later and was given 44 pounds for her $100.

What does all this mean? An increase in the price of all imported goods eventually increasing the cost of living and inflation, with all the repercussions.
