Limbaugh’s Stern Stuff Amounts to a Big Laugh

Share

Thanks for the hilarious column by Rush Limbaugh about Howard Stern (Commentary, March 7). I appreciate how Rush writes like he talks: all over the place. We get a discussion of Ted Kennedy (always mentioned by Rush), campaign reform, television depravity, etc. We don’t get much about Stern, but then one has to enjoy how Rush never actually talks about what he says he is going to talk about.

Most delightful was Limbaugh’s hysterical characterization of himself as a “critic” of the Bush administration. Now, that’s funny! And then there was the punch line: Stern wasn’t fired due to censorship or because Clear Channel has ties to Bush; it’s because of “the free market.” Since Stern seems to be very popular, this is another inside joke by Rush. What a comedian.
