Children Among Dead as Boat Capsizes, Sinks
From Times Wire Reports
At least 21 people were confirmed dead and scores were missing after a boat carrying about 200 schoolchildren and teachers capsized off Vietnam’s southern coast, a government official said.
The boat, registered as a private fishing vessel, sank near Hon Khoai island, about 10 miles off Ca Mau cape in Vietnam’s southernmost province of Ca Mau.
A provincial official said most of the dead were children, and several military vessels were searching for survivors.
