Arab Is Appointed to Nation’s Supreme Court

Israel has appointed its first permanent Arab Supreme Court judge, 56 years after the country’s birth.
Salim Jubran, 57, got the nod Thursday along with three Jewish appointees after a year on the bench on an interim basis.
