Deadly Election Violence Goes On; Ballots Burned

Philippine police said gunmen attacked two northern town halls, killing a policeman and burning presidential ballots, and a bombing in the south killed at least one person near a ballot-counting site.
A nationwide survey projected that President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo received 41% of the vote, while actor Fernando Poe Jr. drew 32%. But an election watchdog group put Poe ahead.
