With $1 million on the line, Matt Kenseth showed just how aggressive he can be.

He moved right to the rear bumper of Ryan Newman, then moved past with four laps left to win the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series All-Star Challenge Saturday night at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C., taking home the six-figure prize.

Kenseth, driving a Ford, beat Newman by about five car lengths, with Tony Stewart, Michael Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt Jr. rounding out the top five.

The race is split into three segments, starting with 40 laps. Nearly half the field was damaged early, when Kurt Busch tried to push Roush Racing teammate Greg Biffle past Kenseth on the 10th lap.

Instead, the contact sent Biffle into the outside wall at the end of the frontstretch, with a large portion of the field bearing down on him.

In all, 11 cars were involved -- including defending race winner Jimmie Johnson -- and six were forced to the garage for the rest of the night. That list included Biffle, Busch, Kevin Harvick and Sterling Marlin.

Kyle Busch won the pole for today’s NASCAR Busch Series Goulds Pumps ITT Industries 200 at Nazareth, Pa., turning a fast lap at 131.167 mph in a Chevrolet.

Regan Smith qualified second at 130.875 in place of Kasey Kahne, who raced in the Nextel All-Star Challenge. Because Kahne did not qualify the Dodge, he will start from the back of the field.

Michael Schumacher will have his worst starting position of the season for today’s Monaco Grand Prix, where he will be trying to win his sixth consecutive Formula One race.

Jarno Trulli won the pole position, while Schumacher had the fifth-fastest qualifying time in his Ferrari. Trulli powered his Renault around the winding, narrow streets of Monaco in 1 minute 13.985 seconds.

Doug McComb survived a spin that caused a seven-car pileup and won the 50-lap Auto Club Late Model Series feature at Irwindale Speedway.

McComb started to spin as he came out of Turn 4 and was sliding sideways as the field completed the fourth lap, forcing the seven cars behind him to slide into each other.
