For the Rev. Tom Bird, One Conviction Is Not Enough

Share

Regarding the Rev. Tom Bird’s lengthy prison term for killing his wife (“Who Killed Sandy Bird?” by Scott Kraft, May 2), I believe the author’s concern is misplaced. Rather than worrying that Bird may have been unjustly convicted of the murder of his spouse, my distress is with his acquittal of the first-degree murder of his lover’s husband. This so-called minister is a cold-blooded killer who should never be paroled.
