Peterson Lawyer Alleges Prosecution Misconduct

Scott Peterson’s defense attorney contends that prosecutors withheld important information until last week that could clear his client, according to a motion filed Monday.
Defense attorney Mark Geragos, alleging misconduct, is seeking sanctions against the prosecution in Peterson’s double- murder trial, scheduled to begin June 1.
Peterson is accused of killing his pregnant wife, Laci, and their unborn child on or around Dec. 24, 2002.
