2 Car Bomb Blasts in Karachi Injure 25

Two car bombs exploded minutes apart beside a language school close to the U.S. consul’s residence in Karachi, killing a police officer and wounding 25 other people. None were believed to be Americans.
The second and far more powerful blast, 25 minutes after the first, hit police and journalists. No one claimed responsibility.
The second explosion hurled huge chunks of a car as far as 50 yards, injuring bystanders. Several Pakistani students from the school were reported hurt.
