The following American military personnel killed in Iraq were identified by the Department of Defense in the last two weeks:

Alan N. Bean Jr., 22, of Bridport, Vt.; specialist, Army National Guard. Bean was killed Tuesday when his unit came under mortar attack at Forward Operating Base Kalsu in Iskandariya. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 86th Field Artillery, Army National Guard in Williston, Vt.

Beau R. Beaulieu, 20, of Lisbon, Maine; specialist, Army. Beaulieu was killed Monday in a mortar attack on Camp Cooke in Taji. He was assigned to the 27th Main Support Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Kyle W. Codner, 19, of Wood River, Neb.; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Codner was killed Wednesday in hostile action in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Carl F. Curran, 22, of Union City, Pa.; specialist, Army National Guard. Curran was killed May 16 when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in Karmah. He was assigned to Battery C, 1st Battalion, 107th Field Artillery Regiment, Army National Guard in Oil City, Pa.

James W. Harlan, 44, of Owensboro, Ky.; sergeant, Army Reserve. Harlan was killed May 14 when a suicide bomber detonated a car bomb next to his vehicle at Camp Anaconda, near Balad. He was assigned to the 660th Transportation Company, 88th Regional Readiness Command, Army Reserve in Zanesville, Ohio.

Matthew C. Henderson, 25, of Lincoln, Neb.; corporal, Marine Corps. Henderson was killed Wednesday in hostile action in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Jeremy R. Horton, 24, of Erie, Pa.; staff sergeant, Army. Horton was killed May 21 when an improvised explosive device detonated near Iskandariya, south of Baghdad. He was assigned to Company B, 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Division in Baumholder, Germany.

Mark J. Kasecky, 20, of McKees Rocks, Pa.; specialist, Army National Guard. Kasecky died May 16 when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in Karmah. He was assigned to Battery C, 1st Battalion, 107th Field Artillery Regiment, Army National Guard in Oil City, Pa.

James P. Lambert, 23, of New Orleans; private first class, Army. Lambert was killed Tuesday when an improvised explosive device struck his patrol in Fallouja. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 62nd Air Defense Artillery, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) at Ft. Drum, N.Y.

Jeremy L. Ridlen, 23, of Maroa, Ill.; specialist, Army National Guard. Ridlen was killed May 23 by small-arms fire after a dump truck on the side of the road was detonated while his military convoy passed by in East Fallouja. He was assigned to the 1544th Transportation Company, Army National Guard in Paris, Ill.

Richard H. Rosas, 21, of St. Louis, Mich.; private first class, Army. Rosas was killed Tuesday when an improvised explosive device struck his patrol in Fallouja. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 62nd Air Defense Artillery, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) at Ft. Drum, N.Y.

Kevin F. Sheehan, 36, of Milton, Vt.; sergeant, Army National Guard. Sheehan was killed Tuesday when his unit came under mortar attack at Forward Operating Base Kalsu in Iskandariya, south of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 86th Field Artillery, Army National Guard in Williston, Vt.

Daniel P. Unger, 19, of Exeter, Calif.; private first class, Army National Guard. Unger was killed Tuesday in a rocket attack on Forward Operating Base Kalsu in Iskandariya, south of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 185th Armor, 81st Separate Armor Brigade, Army National Guard in Visalia, Calif.

Owen D. Witt, 20, of Sand Springs, Mont.; private first class, Army. Witt was killed Monday when his armored vehicle rolled over in Ad Dawr. He was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry, 1st Infantry Division in Schweinfurt, Germany.

Andrew J. Zabierek, 25, of Chelmsford, Mass.; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Zabierek was killed May 21 in hostile action in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marines, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
