Kelly Osbourne has sold her Hollywood Hills home for just under $1.5 million.

Osbourne, daughter of rock star Ozzy Osbourne and a costar with her family of MTV’s reality series “The Osbournes,” purchased the Spanish-style house, built in the 1920s, for close to $1.2 million a year ago in March. The actress-singer, 19, did some refurbishing before selling. She decided to continue living in the family’s Beverly Hills home while doing the MTV show.

The house she sold has three bedrooms and five bathrooms in nearly 2,800 square feet. The master suite has a sitting room and a loft, 1 1/2 bathrooms, a fireplace and a patio. There are hardwood floors throughout the house; a living room with high, beamed ceilings and a fireplace; French doors leading to patios; and stainless-steel appliances in the kitchen.

Kelly Osbourne recently checked herself into a rehab clinic, for addiction to painkillers, after completing her role in the pilot for the new ABC series “Life as We Know It.” “The Osbournes” is in its third season.

Soon, a reunion for father and son

Phil McGraw, the daytime talk-show host who rose to prominence as a psychologist and author on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” has purchased a $2.4-million Hollywood Hills home for his son, Jay, who plans to move there from Texas in June after graduating from law school in Dallas. The 24-year-old hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps as a TV host.

The younger McGraw’s new home has three bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms, with city and canyon views. The 2,700-square-foot house, built in 2003, is a multilevel, architectural home with a butler’s elevator and a patio with an infinity pool. The master bedroom has a fireplace, walk-in closet and spa tub.

Jay McGraw became an author at 19 with the bestselling “The Ultimate Weight Solution for Teens: The Seven Keys to Weight Freedom.” He has appeared often on his father’s TV show, “Dr. Phil.”

Holly Lamar, a Nashville songwriter, has purchased a home in the Miracle Mile area for its asking price of nearly $1.4 million. Lamar, also a singer, wrote “Breathe” for Faith Hill and “Unbroken” for Tim McGraw.

The house, built in 1929, was recently gutted and rebuilt according to a redesign by Natasha Esch. The house has two bedrooms and three bathrooms in 2,200 square feet. The home also has a fireplace in the master suite. The grounds have a pool, pavilion and fountain.

Legally now out of Bel-Air abode

Actress Reese Witherspoon and her husband, actor Ryan Phillippe, have sold their former Bel-Air home for nearly its $4.65-million asking price. The couple moved earlier this year to a newly built Westside home they bought for about $5 million.

The Country English home they sold has four bedrooms in 5,500 square feet. It was designed by Gerald Colcord and built in 1969. The recently renovated house sits on nearly an acre, behind gates, and has a pool area with waterfalls.

The buyers are attorney Sanford Michelman and his wife, Laura.

Witherspoon, 27, starred in the “Legally Blonde” films (2001, 2003). Phillippe, 29, played an actor posing as the manservant of a visiting American movie producer in the film “Gosford Park” (2001).

Sheila and Jeffrey Michelman of Paramount Rodeo Realty, Sherman Oaks, represented the buyers, and Joyce Flaherty of Coldwell Banker, Beverly Hills South, had the listing.

When the former actress owned the property, the yard was planted in fruit trees. The orchard is gone and in its place is a Country English house built in 1955, after she subdivided her estate into six lots.

The house has three bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms in nearly 2,700 square feet. The home, at the end of a long drive, has a lagoon-style pool, waterfalls and park-like grounds. Inside are vaulted ceilings, a sunken living room, three fireplaces and beveled French doors.

Mary Kay Nibley has the listing at Osman Realtors, a newly established realty firm in Beverly Hills.
