Mitsubishi’s U.S. Marketing Chief Quits

From Bloomberg News

Ian Beavis, 51, quit Wednesday “for personal reasons,” a spokeswoman said, without elaborating. Mitsubishi Motors North America, based in Cypress, has begun a search for Beavis’ replacement.

The maker of Galant sedans is trying to reverse a sales plunge in the U.S. A management team hired in 2003 has yet to halt the decline.
