A man in Sweden was arrested after shooting cellphones into a high-security prison using a bow and arrows, police said.

The 25-year-old man has been charged with planning to aid a prison escape and could get up to a year in jail, officers said.

The suspect, whose name was not released, fired two cellphones and a charger over the 12-foot wall of Mariefred prison outside Stockholm.

Police suspect that cellphones were used to help coordinate escapes with outside accomplices three times this year.
