Officials Decide Not to Waive Turnpike Tolls

Pennsylvania Turnpike officials have opted against waiving tolls today as a way to cope with heavy holiday traffic during a strike.
Tolls were waived Wednesday, the first day of the strike by 1,823 toll collectors, maintenance employees and office workers.
Turnpike workers have been without a contract since September 2003.
