Trial of Terror Suspects Delayed for One Year

Eight British terrorism suspects charged in a plot linked to U.S. financial targets were told that they would not face trial until September 2005.
The men were arrested in raids across Britain last month, two days after the U.S. issued an alert concerning potential financial targets in New York, New Jersey and Washington.
All eight appeared at London’s Old Bailey criminal court via a video link from high-security prisons. They spoke only to confirm their names.
