A Hero With Grace

I had the honor of meeting Fred Korematsu (obituary, April 1) when I was the regional director for the Anti-Defamation League in San Francisco, which honored him for his steadfastness in the face of injustice. He surely never meant to be the hero that he was, but he wore the mantle with remarkable grace and humility and no discernible trace of bitterness.
