From Times Wire Reports
A jury in Jackson found a state Supreme Court justice, a prominent lawyer, and two former trial court judges not guilty of bribery charges.
Paul Minor, one of the state’s most politically active lawyers had been accused of using cash, loans and gifts to secure favorable decisions in cases before Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Oliver Diaz Jr. and the two former judges.
The jury was unable to reach a verdict on any of the counts, including racketeering charges against Minor.
