Protesting the war
On Wednesday I attended a candlelight vigil in Sierra Madre to support Cindy Sheehan and protest the Iraq war. More than 100 people attended this quiet, dignified vigil. Holding my candle, I realized that it will be the mothers who will save America. Those who give and cherish life will save us from those whose arrogance and lies have brought us the death and destruction of war.
