Illegal Immigration Causes Societal Harm

Regarding “The Truth About Illegal Immigrants,” Golden State, Dec. 15:

The truth about illegal immigration is more than economics.

The truth is the loss of our national sovereignty while our elected officials look the other way to gain the favor of their business contributors.

The truth is our public education system is failing to educate English-speaking children while they accommodate the majority who are non-English speakers.

The truth is the transformation of many parts of our communities into Third World “countries” where our laws are ignored and there is no attempt at assimilation.

We are increasingly becoming a nation divided by the very rich and the very poor.
