The military Wednesday identified a civilian Army employee who was killed Saturday in Baghdad.
Barbara Heald, 60, of Stamford, Conn., was killed when a mortar round hit a palace, a statement said. Two Americans had been reported killed Saturday by a rocket at the U.S. Embassy compound. Heald apparently was one of them.
Separate statements said two Marines assigned to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force were killed in action Wednesday in Al Anbar province.
