European Rocket Takes Off With 2 Satellites

Europe’s most powerful rocket soared safely into space with two satellites from its launchpad in Kourou, French Guiana, two years after its inaugural flight ended in disaster.
A rocket launched Dec. 11, 2002, went out of control and was destroyed three minutes after it blasted off.
