Jonathan Chait’s Insight

With succinct clarity, Jonathan Chait (Commentary, Feb. 18) trenchantly analyzed the reasons for the recent rapprochement between the Israelis and the Palestinians. Would that Chait had been an advisor to Yasser Arafat during the Clinton-Barak Camp David and Taba talks. The Palestinians might have had their state by now and thousands would have been alive to enjoy the fruits of peace.
