Favored Candidates in the Mayoral Race

In your tongue-in-cheek editorial “Name That Mayor” (Feb. 17), where you rail against the tabloid approach to journalism that is exhibited in eastern newspapers, you certainly did a good hatchet job on Bob Hertzberg.

Your bias comes through no matter how you try to spin it. You really are no better than the rags you try to mock.

Re your Feb. 17 editorial: I didn’t need it, as I had already voted by mail. It’s James Hahn for me. There is nothing in Hahn’s private life to make me regret voting for his reelection. What I would like to see is an end to the value of the dollars given by those who seek personal favors and equal services for all citizens. Dream on.
