The Fuss Over Ukraine

Being an ex-Soviet emigre, I do not comprehend all this fuss on Ukraine tilting East, tilting West. This is all just nonsense! Ukraine is not tilting anywhere -- she stays where she is, as do all former Soviet republics. The same goes for the “newborn” Ukrainian democracy. It will take decades to see any substantial changes.
