French Diplomat Is Fatally Shot in Capital

Gunmen killed a French diplomat who was driving in Haiti’s capital, Port-au-Prince, and stole his car.
French Embassy officials said they did not know why gunmen would have wanted to kill Paul-Henri Mourral, France’s honorary consul to the northern city of Cap-Haitien. Haitian police were investigating.
