From Times Wire Reports
Two U.S. soldiers were killed when a roadside bomb exploded in southeastern Afghanistan, the U.S. military said.
They were in a convoy in Paktika province, near Pakistan, when their vehicle was struck. A third U.S. soldier and an Afghan interpreter were wounded, the American military said.
Names were withheld until family could be notified.
The deaths brought to 147 the number of U.S. troops killed in and around Afghanistan since their mission began in 2001.
