Mexican Court Tosses Levi Strauss Judgment

Levi Strauss & Co. said an appeals court in Mexico had overturned a $45-million judgment against the apparel maker, reversing a decision that had held the company liable for a police raid that wrongly targeted a former contractor during a crackdown on clothing counterfeiters.
The appeals court concluded that there wasn’t a direct link between the raid and plant closure.
