A Poacher in Need of Reproach

Share

I’m a fisherman, and possibly approaching the scofflaw level of the golf course pond poachers in the article “A Fishing Hole in One” (by Charlie Schroeder, May 15). The featured poacher, John, seemed like a good ole bloke, a catch-and-release (read: conservation-minded?) fisherman. That is, until the end of the story--when he comes home from his addiction, plops down on the couch and rests his arm “on a skinned bobcat.” Skinned bobcat?! Now it’s time to reel in and prosecute this character and anyone like him.
