Top Al Qaeda Suspect Is Taken to U.S.
From Times Wire Reports
Senior Al Qaeda suspect Abu Faraj Farj was flown from Pakistan to the United States, the U.S. military confirmed.
Pakistan said Farj, a Libyan arrested May 2, had been handed over to the United States, but gave no details of his destination.
Col. James Yonts, the U.S. military spokesman in Afghanistan, said in an e-mail that Farj had been taken directly to the U.S. He gave no details.
