Yukos Oil Executive Detained in Moscow
From Times Wire Reports
The head of a subsidiary of Russia’s Yukos Oil Co. was detained at a Moscow airport, a spokeswoman for the lawyers of former Yukos boss Mikhail Khodorkovsky said.
Police detained Spaniard Antonio Valdez-Garcia, general director of Fargoil, a subsidiary that prosecutors last month named in connection with a new investigation of Khodorkovsky, who was recently sentenced to nine years on fraud and tax evasion charges.
No details on the arrest were immediately available.
