Update -- Normally, the Sparks would have revenge on their minds for the 81-53 pounding they took last week in Sacramento. But these aren’t the times the Sparks have grown used to. In fifth place and with a two-game losing streak, the Sparks haven’t shown themselves to be a dominant team. Yolanda Griffith, 35, is averaging 16.4 points and 7.8 rebounds to lead first-place Sacramento, off to its best start. Spark forward Tamika Whitmore, who was kneed in the head in Tuesday’s loss to Phoenix, practiced Friday and is expected to play.
