A radio station in Lexington, Ky., is being sued by a woman who thought she won $100,000 in a giveaway contest but in fact got a Nestle’s 100 Grand candy bar, according to the Smoking Gun website.

Norreasha Gill, 28, filed the suit this week against WLTO-FM, charging breach of contract. She claims she was listening on May 25 when a DJ said he would award “100 Grand” to the 10th caller. She won and was told to pick up the prize the next day. She subsequently learned that the contest was a “joke,” according to her lawsuit, which names the radio station’s parent company, Cumulus Media, as a defendant.

Gill is asking for the $100,000 prize plus additional punitive damages.
