3 Suspects Acquitted in 2002 Attacks
From Times Wire Reports
Three men were acquitted of conspiracy in two nearly simultaneous attacks linked to Al Qaeda in 2002: a suicide bombing that killed 15 people at an Israeli-owned hotel and a failed attempt to shoot down an Israeli jetliner.
The three were Salmin Mohammed Khamis, Kubwa Mohammed Seif and Said Saggar Ahmed. About three weeks ago, four other men were acquitted of carrying out the hotel bombing.
