Two Rwandan businessmen in Belgium were sentenced for helping Hutu militias that killed hundreds of thousands of people in the 1994 Rwanda genocide.

The court sentenced Etienne Nzabonimana to 12 years and his half brother Samuel Ndashyikirwa to 10. They were convicted of participating in plans to massacre Tutsis and moderate Hutus at a church and a nearby municipal hall. The prosecution said the men had offered transport and helped arrange for weapons. They were living in Belgium when they were arrested in 2002.
