Cartel Co-Founder Extradited to U.S.

Miguel Rodriguez Orejuela, co-founder of Colombia’s Cali cocaine cartel, was extradited to the United States.
He was indicted in Miami in 2003 along with his brother, Gilberto, on charges of drug smuggling, money laundering and obstruction of justice. The two could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted. Gilberto was extradited three months ago.
