The Defense Department last week also identified the following American military personnel killed in Iraq:

Andrew L. Bossert, 24, of Fountain City, Wis.; sergeant, Army. Bossert was one of two soldiers killed Monday when a car bomb exploded near them in Ramadi. He was assigned to the 44th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Howze, South Korea.

Donald W. Eacho, 38, of Black Creek, Wis.; sergeant first class, Army. Eacho was among four soldiers killed March 4 when an improvised explosive device detonated near their patrol in Ramadi. He was assigned to the 1st Infantry Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team at Ft. Carson, Colo.

Michael W. Franklin, 22, of Coudersport, Pa.; private first class, Army. Franklin was one of two soldiers killed Monday when a car bomb exploded near them in Ramadi. He was assigned to the 44th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Howze, South Korea.

Seth K. Garceau, 27, of Oelwein, Iowa; sergeant, Army National Guard. Garceau died March 4 at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany, of injuries suffered Feb. 27 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle in Ramadi. He was assigned to the 224th Engineer Battalion, 155th Brigade Combat Team, Army National Guard in Fairfield, Iowa.

Sean Grimes, 31, of Southfield, Mich.; captain, Army. Grimes was among four soldiers killed March 4 when an improvised explosive device detonated near their patrol in Ramadi. He was assigned to the 1st Infantry Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team at Ft. Carson, Colo.

Matthew A. Koch, 23, of West Henrietta, N.Y.; specialist, Army. Koch was killed Wednesday when an improvised explosive device detonated near him in Taji. He was assigned to the 70th Engineer Battalion at Ft. Riley, Kan.

Stephen M. McGowan, 26, of Newark, Del.; corporal, Army. McGowan was among four soldiers killed March 4 when an improvised explosive device detonated near their patrol in Ramadi. He was assigned to the 1st Infantry Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team at Ft. Carson, Colo.

Adriana N. Salem, 21, of Elk Grove Village, Ill.; specialist, Army. Salem was killed March 4 when her military vehicle rolled over near Tikrit. She was assigned to the 3rd Forward Support Battalion, Division Support Command, 3rd Infantry Division at Ft. Stewart, Ga.
