Exodus Precedes Final Election Results

About 16,500 people have fled Togo amid fears of more unrest in the West African country, where final results of last week’s disputed presidential election are due today, the United Nations refugee agency said.
The agency said 9,000 refugees had been registered in Benin and 7,500 in Ghana, up from a combined total of 11,500.
