Blasts at Theaters Kill 1, Wound Dozens
From Times Wire Reports
Bombs went off in two New Delhi movie theaters showing a controversial Hindi-language film, killing at least one person and wounding dozens.
Both theaters were showing the movie “Jo Bole So Nihal,” which Sikh leaders say offends their faith by showing a Sikh character chased by scantily clad women.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who is a Sikh, called an emergency meeting of the Cabinet to assess the situation. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
