PPM to Build Wind Farm in Solano County
From a Times Staff Writer
PPM Energy, a subsidiary of Scottish Power, said it would build a 150-megawatt wind farm in Northern California’s Solano County for $235 million.
The project, which would generate enough power to serve 112,500 homes, is expected to be completed late this year. PPM said it acquired the fully permitted project from an affiliate of EDF Energies Nouvelles of France for an undisclosed amount.
