Mystery buyer lands 1920 Picasso

A Pablo Picasso oil painting from his early Cubist period was sold for $560,000 at an auction in Stockholm on Friday. Anna Hamilton, spokeswoman for the Auktionsverk auction house, would not identify the buyer of the 1920 painting “Guitare et Partition sur Gueridon” (Guitar and Score on a Pedestal Table) -- saying only that the painting “will not stay in Sweden.”
