From Bloomberg News

U.S. mobile phone companies agreed to develop systems so that parents would be able to block unwanted movies, television shows and games from their children’s cellphones.

CTIA said its members had agreed to offer the content controls before making adult entertainment available on cellphones. Under the guidelines, existing movie and TV ratings would be applied to content on the phones. Each company would develop its own technology to allow parents to bar some programs on children’s phones.
