Jordanian attack raises outrage and anger

Re “Defiant Jordanians Rally After Attacks,” Nov. 11

Finally an Arab nation is expressing outrage and anger over Al Qaeda’s murderous acts. How many more tragedies have to happen before these criminals are eliminated from the world stage? It is in the best interest of all civilized nations to remove these cancerous people, one way or another.

I hope that from this latest slaughter the Muslim world understands more clearly that the fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan against terrorism is in its best interest also.

Could this tragedy be the straw that broke the camel’s back and signals the beginning of the end for suicide murderers?

Let’s hope so.

Re “Pain and anger in Jordan,” editorial, Nov. 11

Chechen criminals, Palestinians killing civilians and terrorists in Jordan. Your editorial completely ignores the common thread among these groups and others in the Philippines, Bali and too many other places to mention: the role of radical Islam. It is certainly important that we not label every Muslim a terrorist, but sticking our heads in the sand in the name of misguided political correctness is liable to get us killed. Again.
