From Times Wire Reports

A roadside bomb tore through a U.S. armored vehicle that was part of a military resupply convoy in Afghanistan’s southern Oruzgan province, killing a U.S. service member and an Afghan interpreter, the U.S. military said.

Neither was immediately identified. More than 200 U.S. troops have died in and around Afghanistan since the ouster of the Taliban in late 2001.
