Man Arrested in Arson After 3 Fire Deaths

A 20-year-old resident of an apartment complex where three people died in a fire last week was charged in Lawrence with setting the blaze.
Jason Allen Rose will be arraigned on first-degree murder and aggravated arson charges, police said. They would not discuss a motive or say if there were other suspects.
The fire caused an estimated $2.1 million in damage at the Boardwalk Apartments.
It also displaced 87 residents and injured about 20 people, authorities said.
