President Fires Official Investigating His Friend

Ukraine President Viktor Yushchenko dismissed Prosecutor-General Svyatoslav Piskun, who had launched two investigations targeting Petro Poroshenko, a close ally of the president and former head of the Security and Defense Council.
Piskun also refused to rule out looking into the financing of last year’s Orange Revolution, which brought Yushchenko to power.
