Taking a stand

Re “Publisher Pushes One Issue Above All Others: Abortion,” Oct. 17

James Holman, publisher of the San Diego Reader, is to be admired for his courage and the strength of his conviction that abortion is not always the right choice. Today, when most people are afraid to stick their neck out to indicate how they feel, this man is putting his money where his beliefs are. Wish we could all be so forthright.
