Five U.S. Troops Killed in Iraq
Five more U.S. service members have been killed in Iraq, according to military statements released Friday.
Two Marines were killed Thursday near Saqlawiya in what the military called “an indirect fire attack.”
A soldier assigned to the 2nd Marine Division was killed in a roadside bombing Thursday near Ramadi.
The deaths of two other soldiers in south Baghdad were announced in separate statements Thursday.
No names were immediately available.
At least 2,010 U.S. service members have been killed since the invasion in March 2003.
